Id have to agree. I burn my family videos to blu ray and have a ps3, now its useless for this. Im actually putting it up for sale, because I bought it as a blu ray player only for this very reason.

How do you play NES games on xbox, do you mean 360 or the first one?
quincyonq (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
oh ok I see now
bobtheduck (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You're not getting it... Video straight from Sony Made Bluray video cameras isn't working on the PS3 since the 2.5 update.
quincyonq (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
you can still play hd videos on your PS3 you just have to burn it as data
bobtheduck (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Right, so should VCRs be blocked from playing recorded off TV tapes? Um... No... If burned Blurays (like from SONY cameras that record to bluray) don't work anymore, Sony shot themselves in the foot.

more like way to shoot bootleggers in the foot

Apparently, they didn't just shut US down... Burned bluray content no longer works on the PS3, making Bluray a viable source to replace DVD a bit further away... Geez, Sony, way to shoot yourself in the foot... |
