We did not capture Lahore for simple reason because firstly,we had no design on Pakistan territory. Secondly, we did not want to get involved in to managing a large city. So, you are accepting that the Pakistani army is involved in the terrorism in the valley? Just please remember that if there is next war between us that's going to be the final war and the Pakistan will cease to be on the world map. Nuclear weapons or not. So, tell your people in power to stop meddling in our affairs.

hmm..i live in lahore, and batapur is just 1- Km away from indian border, and lahore airport is around 40 KM from batapur, indian army was in batapur, but its rubbish and non-sense to talk about lahore airport, and wht happened then that you retreated from batapur, why not captured it in indian control?lolz pakistan as whole is a captured terretory of india, the world knows pakistan is fucking indian army in kashmir, for last 40 years,u can just only scream and nofin,want to listen more?

@adnankhalid82 Adnankhalid, if you want to live in your make believe world, you are at liberty. But facts are so different. Pakistan right from 1948 till 1999 always got beaten by India. In modern history there is no parallel to the shameful surrender of the 93000 soldiers of pakistan to it's victors, Indian army. In 1965, Lahore was in our control. The Indian army had reached the Batapur of Lahore. The US govt had to take permission of India to use the Lahore airport.Want to hear more?

me from Pak...most of the people commenting above were not even born when this incident had took place..not even i was born.....but wht history tells us that pak was not fair with the bengalis at that time..it was all bhutto's and generals fucking attitude resulted in this...as far as india is there....they are enemy of pakistan.and they would support our enemies as well,,similarly as pak supports indias enemies...so all of guys now concentrate on ur studies, to support your families and nations

But I must tell you, Pakistan was very badly fucked in the war. Very badly. They were out-numbered, out-gunned and out smarted. One key reason for the Pakistan defeat was a relatively low IQ among the Pakistan soldiers.
