I never said that you are a razakar. It was just an idiomatic expression, a reference point of something comparable. And yes, Bangladesh has made mistakes and continue to do so. But that should not be used as a gauge from which to determine or attack the sovereign status of Bangladesh.

Nowere have i said we should kill the biharis or that it is right to kill the biharis. My emphasis throughout has been related to the situtaion of the biharis in the contemporary period, which have been shown in variou studies that i have referenced to be indistinguishable from the lives lead by poor bengali citizens of Bangladesh. Another contentious dispute revolved around the soveriegnty of Bangladesh which neolithic9 is having issues with.

Biharis claiming allegiance to Pakistan does not mean we should engage in the same type of ethnic discrimination the Pakistanis engaged in. What gives us the right to talk about Rajakars, if we do the exact same thing to the Biharis as they did to our people?

neolithic9...as a son of a freedom fighter, I actually agree with you. There was a significant number of people killed by Muktijudhaas in the wake of Pakistani surrender. People SUSPECTED to be Rajakars, or even intellectuals who seemed pro-Pakistani were assassinated. I've heard a story of a college professor lynched by a gang, because he was dressed in Pakistani attire, although during the conflict he influenced many of his students to join the war and even aided muktijidhas.

You are just petty, living in the past and throwing insults at bangladesh. Besides, how many good leader can you show from Pakistan. If it were not for the indepdence, you would have lived in the shadows of Musharraf you ignorant idiot. Im not sure how he is percieved in America, but here in Europe, he is seen as a tyrant. You are yet to update me on the sources of you data for the convo we had for another video.

No country is perfect. Based on imperfection, you are willing to be ruled. It is difficult to be a good leader in poor countries. It is sometimes difficlt to be good leader even in wealthy countries. The PM of Great Britain is not a bad leader. He just came at the wrong time, when the whole world is suffering from the economic crisis. As a result, his popularity has shrunk to the third tier.

This makes me wonder if your a Bengali at all, and if you are, then you are like the razakars of 71. And we did not have as much responsibility as Pakistan, as their actions are incomparable.
sheikhalislam (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I never said this video is about Bengalis. They did not come from Pakistan, but sided with them in the war. In fact, initially they were responsible fo disposesing the nativs of Bangladesh from administrative positions, being favoured by the central authority in Pakistan over Bengali speaking peoples. So far, i ahve not seen a sympathtic comments from you in other videos where the Bengalis are seen to be suffering. |
