This is an awesome tutorial, thank you for it. I've always kinda wanted to know how to do this, but never got around to doing it. Then I was looking at slicing layers and my ADD kicked in and I ended up here lol...This is an awesome step-by-step, thank you.Yours,Shane~

It doesn't get any simpler than someone walking you through step-by-step. If you're not familar with some of the terms or concepts, then may I suggest you pick up the DVD tutorial "Adobe® Photoshop® CS3 for Beginners" by Dave Cross.

hi when i tried to color the background black it wont allow me to do it it wont select the brush tool its stay on hand to and i have no idea how to get it to go away so i can use the brush HELP???? PLEASE!!!!!
