Today's video is an informative one from http://LivinLaVidaLowCarb.com blogger Jimmy Moore and his wife Christine as they discuss the all-important two-week period on a low-carb diet known as Induction. Anyone starting low-carb needs to get their body into ketosis so their body can begin burning stored fat for fuel.In Episode 38 of their popular "Livin' La Vida Low-Carb On YouTube" video series, Jimmy and Christine discuss the basics of low-carb Induction by telling you exactly what foods you should and shouldn't eat on this earliest phase. Remember, you don't stay in this phase for long unless you have a lot of weight to lose. And the purpose of Induction is NOT weight loss--it's to kickstart your body into burning fat. Here's what you eat during Induction:- Unlimited meats and eggs- 1 cup of non-starchy veggies- 2 cups of green leafy veggies- 3 bowls of bouillon broth- 4 ounces of cheese- 6 olives - 1/2 avocado- 3 teaspoons of lemon/lime juice- 4 tablespoons of heavy cream- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise- 1 serving of picklesIn future videos, Jimmy and Christine will continue to talk about the various aspects of Induction, including snacks, sweeteners, and other such important topics for people choosing to begin on their own healthy low-carb lifestyle journey. You WON'T want to miss those!Keep watching "Livin' La Vida Low-Carb On YouTube" and send us your comments and questions at livinlowcarbman@charter.net anytime. The reason I'm writing to you is to thank you for sure, and to tell others that this really work. Another thing is the Cholesterol problem I was using Crestor, my cholesterol was at 800, I was very afraid to do this, last week I tested at 210, the doctor was beside herself. True story.

THANKS for watching Pink! Even Dr. Atkins never called for people to gorge themselves on meat. Yes, you are allowed as much as you want to satisfy your hunger, but people see "unlimited" amounts as a license to feast. Glad this helps!

hey Pink, i would definitely not do "unlimited" because I tried that and I was gaining weight, I would just do what Jimmy says, "eat till satisfied". Ive been on induction now for 1 week, so im hoping I'll start loosing weight soon cause I got a LOT to loose. Just thought id share some of my personal experience with ya thus far. Thanks Josh
