Because of the history they are forced most likely to "move" just to have a kind of pleasent live.If sweden would be in the economicly position of Bosnia or different other countries, woulnd't make it you proud, as one of the few who have choosen a strugled live in sweden, that there are some humans which left their lands but still DON'T FORGET about YOU.They may be born and grew up somewhre else but never forget about the SAME HUMAN, who just try to don't give up. And for THEM "we" PLAY

No immigrants are forced to leave. They choose to come here. Be mad at them for not "helping" their country. Don't be mad at someone born and raised in Germany or Sweden. They don't owe anything to their parents home countries. How on Earth does playing football help a country anyway? It doesn't. All taking foreign talents is doing is using players you did not help develop. Where has national pride gone? Use your own players, thanks.

Are you talking about in Sweden? In Sweden 1/3 of people are of foreign descent (not "foreigners") so that's 33% of the population. I believe the number is higher in Germany. Are you talking about Abrahamovic? I don't know much about him. But I know Ibrahimovics parents are from Bosnia and I would find it decidedly odd if he played for Bosnia having never lived there in his life.

yeah in a country were 25% are foreigners ...if i would be abrhamovic i would go for serbia. poeple should try to help other poeple have the possibility to stay were they parents are for hundred or more years living and not being forced to move. because in other freaking countries: the wage is 5 times higher, the sidewalks are cleaned up, the police is paid well ...there are just cupple of these countries and i think it's a shame that they don't help the other countries instead.

Germany is his home country. Players shouldn't look at where they were born? Lol? I think that's kind of important. Originally his family like the rest of humanity came from Africa. His parents came from Turkey. Their ancestors came from another country since Turkey didn't always exist. This ethno-centric nationalism is ridiculous (and fake). Cultural behaviour? The guy couldn't be more German if he tried. You're just too blind to see it. And if I was him I WOULD play for Germany. :)

He's great! Hope he chooses to play for Germany though... There needs to be more of us who are willing to represent the countries we are born and raised instead of countries we've never lived in but where our ancestors happen to come from. I mean, WTF? I know I'd never represent any country other than Sweden. Hope Mesut feels the same about Germany! Go go! <3
