Yeah, we knew it was messed up before we even opened it... oh well. They still sold tickets to the, apparently "paid for" back in 1957, event! $20 a pop to watch a rusted pile of crap be raised from a hole that caused traffic delays and required lots of construction to fix. Yay...

The ancient Egytians, using rocks hand tools, built chambers that preserved artifacts pristinely for thousands of years.Americans in the atomic age, with bulldozers, modern surveying equipment, and concrete, couldn't preserve something for 50 years any better than if it had been left out in the weather the whole time.That says a lot.
