Re-edited and reconfigured scene w/new cgi fx for the jor-el/luthor confrontation scene from "Superman II". Sadly, the fx and choices used in "The Donner Cut" by Michael Thau and WB makes the scene look like the total fx budget was 25 cents. Here is my attempt to 'fix' many of the choices made by Thau using the existing composed footage so that the sense of scale of the Jor-el projection from the first Superman movie is restored (as much as possible). I couldn't quite duplicate Brando's look from STM, (there was a black and white version that was tried but came out flat)--- but I tried a next best thing. Does it work? Is it an improvement or does it make it worse? You decide. ;)
