It may be true when it says "14 months later", but there is still something fishy about the first and second half of the movie, (as in a previous comment I made): ...why would Kurt go from being a demented killer bent on driving a "100% death proof" muscle car ... custom made from a stunt crew -- to driving an all stock charger ... only wanted to "have some fun" and ran for his life screaming "I'm Sorry! I'm sorry! " like a pussy? ... it's a mind fuck, it's the Tarantino mind fuck.
