Ottavo Damon Hill su Williams. Ritirato anche il compagno di squadra di Verstappen, Michael Schumacher per un guasto al motore.Le riprese ravvicinate dal secondo 0:17 a 0:25 sono del coraggioso cameramen italiano Franchino Scandinaro che, in tuta ignifuga, assicura a un miliardo di telespettatori la spettacolare quanto sconvolgente "diretta" della scena. Yeah it did. I watched this live. He had very minor burns around his eyes. A fire don't forget needs oxygen, so I think thats why his face was not seriously injured.As if you still care, having made your comment two months ago!

Because they wear fire-proof clothes. Everything is fire-proof (even the underwear), and the clothes are tested by the FIA-these clothes have to resist I think it's a minute without burning.Obviously security has improved over the years, but this issue with fire has been something the FIA has cared a lot about since Nikki Lauda's accident (in the early 70s?).Hope I helped!
