she truly was amazing in this one, but her role in Sophie's Choice still stands above everything else she's done so far, it's just too good, sky high and pure, high class drama

Angelina will surely not win this year, and many say she might not even be nominated and they can place Cate Blanchett there instead, Kate Winslett's really nice, but Meryl's due and overdue, Meryl will get it ladies and gentlemen ;)

Elis Shue was tight 2! Personally I almost always have problems - who to pick as a no.1 when it comes to oscars... :-]_

I love both Susan and Meryl. I think Susan completely deserved it and I'm happy for her. Fingers crossed for Meryl this year(give her a third Oscar for Doubt)!

Meryl was flawless in Bridges, and she was ripped off for this I think, this was such a winderful preformance and Meryl deff took the loss well haha. she was so excited for Susan Sarandon, who I loove and she was very good but Meryls accents are just soo good, she should have about 7 oscars by now instead of 2. Oscar number 3 for doubt, fingers crossed!

What an extraordinary group of nominees and 5 memorable movies. To this day, those 5 roles are still iconic. That was a good year for film. |
