yeah, except its not pressurising the intake manifold. combining a turbo/blower setup w a properly tuned nitrous system is a real good way to make power, cooling down the hot compressed air from the turbo. ofcoarse if youre running factory pistons then that might be a bit much BMEP for that weak aluminum to handle

If you would run a dry system with oxygen [not too much oxgen, otherwise the engine will probably melt] it has basically the same effect as a turbocharger/kompressor, right?

You forgot that a general fogger is used in the intake plenum, and that fogger you described was Direct port.

I would definitely not want a wet plate system in my car... it would mess up my turbo and make my intake manifold soooo dirty... fuck, it would be a pain in the ass to repair that, probably would need a whole new manifold.

yeah i know, i researched it when i first found out what nitros was ;)spose to be very dangerous to injecting pure oxygen..
Murcielago229 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
thats what I thought when I first understood the effect of NOS, but if you were to burn pure oxygen, your car would over heat and basically melt... no joke |
