Stoats have sharp teeth. They naturally kill larger prey, so has little to do with intelligence.

That sometimes works. It distracts the predator and kind of beckons them to chase them.

I think somebody shot a little rabbit while that rabbit was crying and other rabbits checked young rabbit and they realized they can't help young rabbit. Did you shooting .22 or air rifle to young rabbit?

I don't see much, the brush is covering most of it, but through the whole video the young hare's parents weren't doing jack, all they were doing was jumping around that's it.
