0:38 - that was in 2006 in the spring race opener at homestead speedway, ed carpenter lived, but paul dana did not, he dies instant, ed carpenter was ok but injuryed

What I've realised from motorsport crashes is that the simplest looking accidents can kill while some of the most horrific accidents the drivers just walk away from.....and then fall unconscious but are soon enough back to racing none-the-less - like at 4:24. He survived!! It's just crazy.

The guy who was T-boned by the semi was running from the cops if you weren't aware. The view was from the cop dash cam.

I remember seeing the crash at 0:38 on the news last year. Yeah, he died - the guy who got hit. RIP
