So for example: BE matte/glimmer eyeshadows and blushs should be pressed the same way you did the foundation?

if they are non mineral, non fine powder, and non matte - then regular alcohol press is just fine.

I know you said minerals need to be baked and regular shadows, pigments, blushes, etc. don't...but can they be?? And can you use the mixture on the above, or do you suggest just using alcohol?? Thx.

Koren I am a huge fan.. you are awesome! Unfortunately, the mall's closed now & I cant run out & buy the MAC Face & Body medium. BUT I do have the MAC water-based medium & I tried to spray some TRESEMME SHINE SPRAY in the mix also & it worked perfectly!!! The main ingredients are also silicones & alcohol. So the 3 ingredients I used to mix are: TRESEMME Shine spray, alcohol, & MAC Mixing Medium. I also baked them using my straightener & I used a C-clamp to press.

can i just use glycerin and alcohol?thanks!
EnKoreMakeup (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yes it does! if you are pressing minerals, matte, or finely milled powders, they will dry back to its loose powder form if you use alcohol.
