i like 2 strokes because they make the power of a four stroke but with half the cc. they are also incredibly simple because they have no valves,cams,cam chain, and counter balancers. The internal mass is also usually smaller so they rev out faster.

he failed to mention that there is something called a deflector in the cylinder...at the time when new mixture is coming in and the exhaust is exposed, the deflector, which is located between the exhaust port and the small spacing where mixture is coming in, deflects the mixture to go UP and prevent it from going to the exhaust port making the engine more sufficient as mixture loss is minimized

yes very true and mine is a STIHL weedwacker-I use 1/2 87 octane gasoline and 1/2 E85 (i make the E85,84% Denatured Alcohol,16% Xylene),fuel stabilizer,1 cup amsoil hp injector 2-cycle oil and 1 tablespoon turpentine, i did calculating it is a 95 octane Fuel, works ok
