Its a pretty clear message I think. Its a critique of modern culture. Including consumerism, self deceit and the the silly games we play with ourselves. Its a very introspective song, with a great melody and beautiful lyrics. I think its inspiring. Thanks for posting.

Firstly, anyone having problems with Alanis' looks....go watch a Jessica Simpson video....looks with no substance. Secondly, Alanis not only expresses in lyrics but in being naked in this video. It is from the very common dream of being naked and not being noticed. It displays her greater inner vulnerability further and then the subsequent acceptance....what we are all looking for....

.....Being naked is a big part and has a lot of meaning. She is bearing her soul and feelings being naked symbolizes it.
