This song was part of my growing up even though I did not understand the meaning of this song before. Taking a nomad (jajabor) or vagabond life might be colorful for Mr. Bhupen Hazarika. But it is very painful for me to forget my own country where I was born. Someone could have American citizenship and many more things to be proud of but the birthplace and the inherent culture what we leave behind is very hard to forget until our death. we remain thirsty.
