Le me tell you why one becomes emotional listining this song: This is a song expressing pure clean true love. There are only two other songs that I know of exist can be called true love songs. They are Mehdi Hasan's Duniya Kisise Payer Me, and Gita Dutt's Tumi Je Amar.

Nahid Niazi passed away I think about two years ago. She and Moslehuddin lived in London.

You are a genius!! Where do you find all those songs surpassing time and space! I get so nostalgic. This song was an outcome of the effort to combine pakistan inter-wings cultures (Naheedd Niazi's marriage to Moslehuddin was also a news item). I don't know where are they now. Thanks a lot Sparvez.

Excellent comment! I heard that Naheed Niazi sang this song on condition that this song should not be used in any movie.

interestingly, while i was searching this song, i came across a horrible and tasteless so called remix with dances and such. why there is a obscene trend to create remix by inept musicians and ruin the old songs because the new generation would never have the taste of the beauty of a song when remixed.
