bret micheals has such a nice voice, he can pull off anything. he can pull off rock, country, (reality tv 3 seasons of rock of love) he's just so awesome, and all his songs are heartfelt, and he's not singing this to a girlfriend, he's actually singing this to his kids, and thats just so sweet.

Normally I'm not into the whole country thing, but Bret pulls it off... this song reminds me of a guy I met recently. idk if he feels the same about me but he's made every fake smile and every ounce of pain worthwhile... so I can only hope he knows ♥

Speaking of wedding, erzahler, the first time I heard this song was at a wedding. As soon as I got home, I combed the internet looking for it. I was surprised to hear Jessica Andrews as his backup singer.
